My MC 205 has a lot of trouble taking off with rockets attached. Often I have damage taking off and I crash many times.
Please help with suggestions.

I think the ordnance we carry, will cause aerodynamic changes, specially rocket. Also notice on fw190. I try to take off in a very shallow climb while carry ordnance. I am in tilt mode.

The 205 is parsnickety loaded down. Best I can say is take off loaded is 125 minimum and 135 maximum. That said I tend to not climb it at all once I'm up. Stay at 10ft until gear have retracted and speed is 200. Then no more than 5deg climb until your 280mph or higher. Also be very careful banking until your 200 is reach. It likes to stall the wing and slide into the ground for cartwheels. Thing of it as asking a race horse to pull a carriage.

I think somebody put a restrictor plate on the carbs of my 205. A 202 walked away from me the other day and i used my boost twice while tailing it. Both flying same altitude and neither of us dived. It just seems to be a bit slower allaround.

Should of easily caught it its literally fastest plane in the game. Sure you didn't have gear or flaps down?

mc205 is too fast to climb, somtimes it reach 200 mph before the gear has not fully retracted, so it will add drag during flight. If this happen, I prefer to climb until my speed below 200mph, so the gear will continue to fully retracted.

We share the same technique. I do the same.
